Basic Services. The Basic Procedure
Each Kallback customer is given a personal trigger number that is used to initiate a Kallback session. Dial the number, let it ring once, then hang-up. You are not charged for the incomplete call. The Kallback computer system identifies the number and immediately returns the call. The computer will say, "Enter the call you wish to dial now" and you may then place as many calls as you wish during a single Kallback session. If necessary, the computer may be programmed to ask for a customer by name and extension number - a feature that is of particular usefulness to hotel guests.
Service Types
Standard Trigger Numbers are established to receive calls at a single, permanent location. If you do not plan to travel, Kallback suggests this service - it is the fastest, easiest, and most economical of all Kallback services. (The standard trigger number service will not ask for the customer by name).
Traveler Trigger Numbers are designed for traveling customers who wish to change their callback location and need to be asked for by name. If you plan to use Kallback when you travel, please request this service on the Kallback application form. An additional $5 per month is charged for this service.
Personalized Trigger Numbers ask for a Kallback customer by name at a permanent location. This service is utilized by customers in corporate offices where multiple users need to identify their individual Kallback accounts.
Many Kallback customers use more than one trigger number for their long-distance needs. They may have a Standard Trigger Number at home, a Personalized Trigger Number at work to navigate a switchboard, and a Traveler Trigger Number for when they travel.

Convenience And Availability
Kallback works with all existing telephones and lines and may be used from a home, office, hotel room, or cellular phone. Kallback is accessible from any country and may be used to call any country. Requirements include a touch-tone phone or hand-held dialer (available from Kallback at a nominal cost or from most electronics stores). Kallback customers may also utilize our sophisticated Voice Recognition System - a feature unavailable from any of Kallback's competitors.

Language Options
Kallback offers the flexibility of voice prompts in most languages. All of Kallback's account maintenance messages (i.e. "You are approaching your credit limit.") and triggering prompts (i.e. "Please enter the number you wish to dial now.") may be requested in the language the customer prefers. If you use a Traveler Trigger Number, the system will automatically ask for you in both English and the language of the country from which you call.
Monthly Statements
Each Kallback customer is mailed, faxed or emailed a monthly Call Detail Report that documents each call made by an individual trigger number. The documentation for each call includes originating number, destination number, time of day, length of call, and the cost of the call.
Rates
Kallback can save customers more than 50% over local telephone company rates, 80-90% over hotel rates, and 75% over AT&Ts USA Direct(tm) rates. The same low rates apply 24-hours a day. Calls are billed in 6 second increments after a 30 second minimum. To calculate rates, please click here.
Fees
There are no monthly service fees for standard Kallback service
Credit Limits
For customer protection, each account (and trigger number) has a monthly credit limit determined by the customer. Kallback airs a warning over the telephone line as the customer nears the credit limit and will terminate service once the credit limit is exceeded. At any time the customer may change the monthly credit limit. The monthly credit limit is useful to customers who need to control the use by others of Kallback international telephone service.
Payment Options
Most Kallback customers pay by credit card with no required deposit. A customer credit card will be charged weekly with a monthly itemized statement mailed, faxed or emailed directly to the customer. Kallback accepts Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Diners Club and JCB.
If you do not have a credit card, Kallback suggests the use of electronic funds transfer (EFT) from a bank account in the U.S. This method requires a deposit of one month's usage (minimum of $200). Your U.S. bank account will be debited once a month for usage fees, at which time an itemized statement will be mailed to you. The amount of the debit will be reported by the bank on your monthly bank statement. While not as convenient as credit card payments, this method saves the customer an additional $10 monthly fee that is charged on cash accounts for faxing a condensed bill, and allows the customer to limit a deposit to one month's estimated usage.
Although credit card and EFT methods are most popular, you may pre-pay for Kallback services. Kallback accepts bank transfers and checks in U.S. dollars drawn from U.S. banks. The minimum accepted prepayment is $500, and Kallback suggests that customers prepay twice the estimated monthly usage, as service will be discontinued upon reaching the prepayment limit. Prepaid accounts are charged an additional $10 per month to cover the cost of faxing a condensed bill, allowing the customer to make payments on schedule.
Companies using $5000 or more in Kallback service may provide a Bank Guarantee in lieu of prepayment. Please inquire for further information.
